The Limelight: Angelo Castro

[MIKARA] When and what was the moment you knew you wanted to be a fashion designer?

[ANGELO] All you can do is change the scenario by the patterns and patterns. Leave a time behind in life. to express my thoughts, so that the tools and tools you have are short and reach the limit of your demands. Fashion has the simultaneous attraction of the beginning and the end. Of the novelty and at the same time of the expiration. Surely it is that contradictory feeling that makes me know that I am fashion.

[MIKARA] What is your favorite garment to create? And why?

[ANGELO] I do not have a favorite garment to create, although I feel some interest in non-generous garments. I believe that some interest is due to this ambiguity. We are at a very important moment where the non-rules are in our wardrobes.

[MIKARA] What is your definition for fashion?

[ANGELO] Fashion is ephemeral until a soul possesses it.

[MIKARA] How would you define your collection?

[ANGELO] It was inspired by the duality of the everyday and the religious life which emerges on special occasions, in the form of 'Maria', in the catholic tradition of Venezuela and Uruguay. In the collection, unique textures and shapes merge to create conceptual silhouettes through which people protect, live and transmit their beliefs.

[MIKARA] As you continue to build your brand, how do you want your clients to view your clothes?

[ANGELO]  As I build my brand, I would like my clients and future clients to call me as a trusted and safe person. Knowing that they fill the emptiness of the garments.

[MIKARA] Describe Angelo Castro's ideal client in 3-5 words?

[ANGELO] Let them appreciate the story Armed and expressive.

[MIKARA] Out of all of your products, what would you say is your most proudest item & why?

[ANGELO] They are the protective garments. Like coats / caperas, for the simple fact of always being that new element that helps our protection.

[MIKARA] What luxury designer/brand do you admire the most and why?

[ANGELO]  Rick Owens, I think he has a look towards the future, simple combined and architecture with rupture and chaos is simply the importance of a new beauty.

[MIKARA] In the next 3-5 years, where would you like to see yourself?

[ANGELO] From 3 to 5 years, I see myself enjoying my work. Stepping strong identity in my brand showing and exposing my thoughts around the world. Accompanying my clients in their day-to-day experiences with my products.
